Wolves In The Throne Room - The Cleansing
Wolves in the Throne Room is a metal band based in Olympia, WA. Their unique sound is influenced by Scandinavian black metal, doom metal, dark ambient, folk music and crust punk. The band has described their sound as "purifying black Metal" or "transformative black metal", although in interviews the band has shown an unwillingness to be restricted by any musical label. WITTR is regarded as one of leading bands in the new wave of black metal from the United States. Their two studio albums "Diadem of 12 Stars" and "Two Hunters" have received universally high marks from a wide spectrum of music publications.
